How Does It Work?

When an electrical charge is passed through the salt (NaCl) solution, the sodium separates from the chloride. Chloride is negatively charged & is attracted to the positive side of the electrical charge where it bonds with oxygen and hydrogen from the water. It gets converted from Cl- to HOCl or hypochlorous acid. This is the same substance your white blood cells produce to fight infection. Yes you caught that right – hypochlorous acid is your immune system’s first line of defense, and if you happen to be in a public restroom or nursery school right now, your body is making it as you read this! Hypochlorous acid is even being used in the South Korean “clean zones” in the fight against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.

The Basics
Here's your takeaway

Kangen water means "return to origins" – or "return to original". Kangen water is ionized water. The Machine takes the water and minerals naturally found in tap water runs over flat solid titanium plates coated in platinum that are charged (think lighting striking a lake) and separates the water into Alkaline (YES!) and Acid water (can be used to clean).

Why we got a Kangen machine:

  1. High PH Kangen water is EXTREAMLY high in antioxidants. So vitimin C, fruits and veggies, supplements are how we used to get these, but 1 glass of Kangen is equal to 20 cups of green tea, 5 quarts of blueberries to 12 lbs of broccoli (in the amount of antioxidants)... need I say more?
  2. Kangen machines high pH water creates active hydrogen. This one is super cool. Active hydrogen is more of a therapeutic benefit, where it’s not needed but the benefits are such a long list and helps improve overall health. Molecular hydrogen or H2 gas is a very small neutrally charged molecule that has the ability to cross cell membranes and the blood-brain barrier. This gives it the unique ability to access DNA and mitochondria within the cell where it has protective action. You can check out the science here > >
  3. We have learned how to clean with the other water the machine produces. The 2.5pH water has disinfecting properties - works like bleach but it’s WATER. This is big in that there are no skin irritants as you can clean your house chemical free.

  1. Not all high PH (alkaline) water is the same. Bottled high PH water is made by adding chemicals (sometimes baking soda) although not the worst, but it doesn’t actually benefit your body the way ionizing the water does with electricity.   2. Regular tap water and bottled water is made of a 15-20 molecule clusters in one drop of water. Kangen Water is made up of micro-clusters, much smaller 5-6 molecule clusters. This smaller size allows for better hydration because it's more readily absorbed by the body.

    It's also why Kangen Water tastes so good. Most people, including us, say that it’s “smoother” and you can drink a cup or two and you don’t feel sloshie and bloated like you do with other water. That is because it’s not staying in your stomach, your body is able to soak it up WAY faster.

    There are soo many health problems that are caused from general dehydration (blood health is HUGE here, especially for stroke, clot and healthy blood count, and skin health is dependent on this.)
